Why take a deture when some one wants to pay you to get off the road..

one of the things that i have been thinking about all this mess is, 100 year old plus identiy of this house, who made it, the unknown history it has, plus mine impact( only a decade),. San marcos is alot like many citys in that its suberbia devlopment vs old town indentiy, who wins, ussaly the suberian cause the flow of money is there, much like this house, the hight price of value to is that it would be a great parking lot for the church,.,
On my way over to get coffee at the convenant store i ran into my crazed redneck neighbor who blew down his house, next door, i told him about this situwationa again and i also talked to the previous home owner who famliy built this place, I started telling him that i am going to keep the place and retain its identy, not really entertian the idea of selling even at a high price, he flew in to his ussaly defence of his now begoned house, He liked the home alot but he want to do something with his property(understandable)

of cource he was very stonch in his postion about "if i own it i can do as i damn neer please",, i would agree i said "yea your right, much like if you owne the Mona lisa, if you wanted to torch the thing its your right"
, he said in an emontion charge your "damn straight!," i told him that, with that kinda morallity about the destrotion of a scarid object, i would have absolute no moral qualms about have you murdered, by my hand or someones else,.
His furry little eye brows went up. "listen" i told him " I make objects, i am a maker of objects , i believe in the sacredisty of objects,. people don't own them, the object have a relationship with the societys consciienceness any violance to them might come back at ya, you better rember that. not every thing has these powers, but being an artist you have the utpost best planed for what you make, you wouldn't bother makeing them if you didn't feel at least one thing is special about them.,
now a house is a bit differnt i don't think much people minded when his house was knocked down, other than the historic commision. But my house i am building into a piece of art, hummm differtent senerio.

Its ben one of the spooky things about it, what about history? things die, get destroyed, but also , things get preserved, they are preserde by people who understand hisory,
and understand that once they are gone for what ever petty reason they are gone forever.
The only thing i could say to my redneck nieghbor that made any sence, was rember what happens when someone builds a suberia house on an old indian burrial ground,
"rember what happens then! didn't you see poltergist!"
"stupid ass white folks go and do some crap like that, and boy you gots a whole mess of indian ghosts up after ya, now is that there smarts! you just lost a hundred thousand dallar house over it"
