this is the guy i am going to be moving in with Drek Durham the voive of God Sarkov , the instalation was based around the alter ego of Sarkov , something Dreks toyed with threw out the years, it was his cartoon pen name and also the lead character in his band "Duma", he was the leadsinger,.
All along the white picket fence there were video instlations you could see threw a , a peephole threw the fence and you can see this video looped of Sarkov doing various things,( but most reflectd his observation to the viewer) the first peephole i saw was the on in which he was taping us thur the fence, a mini cam quarter poited at the viewer.
thee is one in which he is making paper airplanes and dropping them on the headless guy beneath him, one wher ehe is shooting up drugs and eating., ver all i like the instalation its defiantly Drek, and kudos for the fences, one thing we both love is forts and structures,
the central piece the one on all the the jpegs is Sarkov doing all these hypomotism wrestler moves like and evanlaists, .

as for crittiqualism , when i told Drek i was going to write something up on it, my style of thinking about art is more discriptive less judgmental, or artty, plus i have the bennifits of knowing Drek for 12 years,. so i look at it as a profil of sorts, really all art is personality, you cann't exscape it,.
Hannging out at the opening it reminded me of the art speek i would here from time to time, one of the impression i get is "why do artist sound like scientists?"

The lay out of the instaltion was very much Drek , uniform, in line straight, iconic, to a degree, he is getting into these "golden dawn madallas op art" Types of things, real slick, and plasticly colorful,.

I would say this is one of his major art productions of his career, a statemant of the core of Sarkov.


The space said "C*art wit was one of the best run outs yet,.
