A weekend in San marc

A drawing josh rois gave, me, realy nice piece
humm
Vist with some of my buddies
The main reason i went to san marc was to resolve my horn issue, i couldnt figure it out, cause i cann't get my tags untill it was fixed , luckly scott this guy below was able to help me out, it was a ground wire that was croded, i about took the thing apart, in fustration, I have known'ed Scott for a long time, he ended up getting a house here too, right after i did, he is about 50 now, and a real good artist, mainly drawings of old rustic junkyards, he like old mustangs and making art that looks like its been in the bottem of a river bed,.

He spends alot of his time riding his bike around collecting stuff he finds and draws, while working on his house , he also has a natural touch of gardening, he isn't gay, has a really nice looking girlfriend who lives in another state, Scotts the quintisensal hippy Austinite, live music, and beer.

He also likes to colect broken toys from all over the nighborhood, the photo of him above is typical, he is restringing xmas tree light, finding the bad ones, form a box of wadded up lights, humm seems like a fun midnight activity.

me ans scott like to drink beer, he like bush lite alot, i am more of a natty lite kinda guy, many times in the past we would get into these heated deabates about art and the mening of it , or could anybody be sucessful at it, one of the blaring contrast to why i came to San Antonio,
the old hippys arn't aound much in the ideas of young artist, thats the genral summery, but i being on the tale end of that generation , sorta are famlilar with that they valuse, and what they loath, Scott is no excpetion, we argued alot about the whole buisnes side to this, and this in general lack of markecting that the whole hippy idea of a artist, seem to embrace, i figured it was more spirtual than comercial, .
If you get scott really fucked up one can venture in to the hazzards of being sold out, and awful comercial world out there realy to sell your sold to the comercial devil, (i never thought it was that easy to sell out,) but to the typical Austin alternate post hippy neo slacker it right there waiting and will to turn you out on the street like a cheep hoe. hummm
come to think about it that was one of my other good frinds out cry , one of the disfunctional digruntal adjucts , he had a hard time , dealing with old age i guess, bill , called me up a couple of nights ago all drunk and boy i feel the worst is going to come to him, his mind is spinnning out of control and is obsession over women, and my imoral status as an artist who is being temped by the system, AKA get a job etc, (don't worry folks i am to old to work, rather sell for next to nothing that go to work)
So i don't feel its going to be a happy ending abouts bill, humm Scott, welll they both share a simular theme of this resitance to go out and sell work, something i guess i harp on them alot about, but scott seems pretty content about what he does, and live a carefree lifestyle, of swimming and tinkering around the house, ( which he has done a great job on)
I used to work with scott and mike, alot, there is one of my favorite stoyies to this, our contrasting work ethics

Phill and rhonda, here in the house, they are about to go out and hit happy hour.

Drek and Josh wasting away in front of an X-box
One of our favorite past time is playing halo, this game for the xbox, on slayer sniper, me and drek mainly , josh just happen to sit down,.
one thing i generly concludd about video games is that its practialy could be called an addiction, maybe the ruin of alot of marriages, and surly the vise to escape the real world, for guys. well the real world of being social, men arn't really thet social of a creature come to think about it.
Drek is preparing his wayout of San marc whaere to??
