This is another small painting i did out in Flyod, kinda like this pumpkin lock down, like one of those old time revivels were the preacher would stay up all night with the kids and minister to them, marveling over the mysteries of God's word. I always liked those small churchs like barns , a whole ton of work could be tatterd over ol'time revivels, senes from the church stage. where characters seem to spin and speek in there own twilighted glory of God's word.

This painting, the largest sofar, is called "Peaceable Kingdom" . i also made a small studie to go with it, the orginal ides is from a plastic farm animal model.

these are some goat paintings i am working, i started doing them about a year ago, but will have them complete soon, they are like these metaphores, goats as states of mind. i hang the paintings off the rafters in my studio, and rotate them , cause oil paint takes time to dry and i run my palette like watercolors,. driving around alot in central Texas i see alot of goat yards and wonder, what a good painting these places would make...

Well i put up some 25 paintings over in the Hide Out, a coffee place in austin, the show looked good, alot of chickens and fences, older pieces, sorta this whole chicken pumpkin theme i was into back in 2001, but there was alot of older pieces in there too, it was freaken cold tonight, at the opening, or reception, drank some beers etc, ate dinner than came home, i will take the show down at the end of this week. it been up for about a month,

all entrys made from in the past are being taken off the net slowly, ,very time consuming, and being printed off into this book or personal journal, may29-2007
