I have been to floyd and it is so green. Lush even. These paintings feel like after images. What you see etched into the back of your eyelids when you close your eyes after staring at something for too long. Everthing is color compliment to the orginal.
I have not been to floyd. never met him. This painting RIPS Gaz. Only got one crit though- the tonality of the pool in the foreground reflects the sky pretty perfectly, but since it's exactly the same tone, it drops the pool and the sky into the same vertical plane and flattens the hell out of the pic. Anyhow I call dibs on this one if you ever decide to seal it in a wall or some bullshit. Granola.
