Another piece of good news i am trading a bunch of paintings for a large scultpure piece by Stu, he is going to make my tombstone piece, outta limestone, a life size waist up shot of me with out a shirt holding a chicken in one hand and a cleaver in the other, it will stand about ten feet talk, and have a pedistol mounted in my back yard,. , like a Roman God ! Wow!, so if San Marcos is ever hit with an neuclar bomb my statue will be one of the only things standing!

click for linkhe went to school with me at SWT, he was a sculpter , one funny story about him was he is sorta a redneck jock type but started painting all these Starwars theamed paintings like droids as BQQ pits and action poses , ( this was before the the nintys fourth StarWars movie came out,). He was just a big fan and thougth it was cool!, they were big loudly painted paintings, the department hated them and thought they were highschoolish, i loved them of cource, . but the art profs thougth they did'nt belong in a "college setting" and when his larg boba fet was trying to be put up in the college gallery in a student show , there were som open skawling going on.
little did they know that, in the next five years all the flood of urban hiphop graf artist into media culture would like the whole StarWars deal and make it ok to do this, funny how it works this way inthe "art" world.
I used to joke all the time with the profs up there there, the painting they just goooed theselves over from this fucked up goth girl, would take on a differnt meaning if thay cute little blond head sortity girl had done it,

well this is the status of the studio,
last night i tryed to drink some and paint, just cann't do it, i am burned out to a degree plus look at this mess!
these two paintings were over in Brenham, made out in Marathon,(2002) i still have alot of work over in Evans gallery, need to revamp what they have and make a new chickenhead building for James, humm some new projects for this fall,.
