yesterday some lady i was hanging out with ended up cutting herself real good with a blade, exacto blade, in her hand, she started screaming and crying grabbing her hand, i had these flash backs when i was a kid, my dad had this whittling knife and i wasn't allowed to touch it, cause it was real sharp, well one day i ended up stealing it out of his bedroom and was cutting up wood with it and cut my thumb real bad, i rember coming into the kitchen screaming to mother, "i cut myself i cut myself" mom was all upset , yelling at dad across the house," look what junior did with your knife!"
( the knife i wasn't suposed to touch), he came running in there , the kitchen ,all panic ridden,
i was screaming and crying , "wheres the knife?!" he said., i was crying and blabing on,, such that he whipped out his belt and started strafing my legs with the belt, to get my attention,,, that i was in trouble about the knife deal., while i was crying, he was yelling at my mom saying this will keep his mind off the pain ( cause now i was in trouble), and i needed to snap out of it, and find his knife i lost out in the backyard somewhere.
And sure enough i did forget i cut myself and i was gaurding my legs from this fury of belt lashes.
My concerns were more about getting my ass whoped that my little cut!. Dad sure had a way about making things straight and taking your mind off the trival things like a fleash wound.
much like this woman who cut herself i though ,humm what would it take to get her to shut up!., taser her maybe,?
i don't know, but if i ever hurt myself around here , i told my friends you better just start right off the bat slapping& kicking me (if i get to outta control with myself),. it helps relive the pain.

I guess now i am going to prepar this next month for this one final package, , as i have gone over before, it should be done first week of jan,.
I drove over there to Houston with curtis or HC, its always fun to talk to him about relationships and what not,

i have been fumbling around with this new art concepts called rathouse creations, what it means, , i know i am going to be pent up alot with this new apt, it will be the first time since 93 i have offically rented a place, wow, live like a regular person, one thing i am going to enjoy is a bathtub, i like to laydown in the tub and think about stuff, do all my reading there too,

i am going to problbaly set up a couple of desks and lay out this system of working like a a drawing tabel and aan ruff assemblabe area and a planing area(paperwork?) and just keep my futon over to the side, no painting, the landlord or property manage askend me about this, he is real sharp and aggressive ex military typ from PerdoRico , fast, so just out of fear of being busted i will keep it over at this other studio i have, which will keep me up to other actiitys, just drawing and watching tv, set it up that way, and this time control my diet!

one of the interesting nots about the whole stay over with drek, or the voice of God Durham, was a reflection on where we have been going, i have know Drek for about 12 years, he lived around here in San Marcos, and he also lived at the chicken house, , but back in 94, we shared an apt on the square of San Maroc, it was an unbelievable steel , two beadroom big, for 300, the whole upstairs complex was college kids and things got out of control alot, plus i was smoking to much wacky weed, back then and had manic fits of parania, so i quit (see kids don't do drugs! drugs bad to unstable neurotic morons like me) so i had to blitsz out, cause i couldnt take it, drek got a kick out of my paranoid fits but it took its tole and i moved out to Mendoza and started on the is whole farm bits, or work. i like the country. much like Sartre said anxiety or hell is other people. not drek
we always get along its great !
something a friend of mine figured out why things went the way they did here at the SAFS house,, Drek doen't pay no mind to dram or gossip , he i doesn't want to hear it or speek it, so alot oof my bulshit sorta falls on deaf ears plus i never piss him off cause we don't think the same, but Mr Budd on the other hand? i guess we must feel the same way, . maybe its egos ?
Drek just stomps around alot, never really goes mad or anything.

but the party is over and he will be heading out to somewhere,?

and the grand slam , was this Royal Roberts,!, not this note book page, but it is nice unto itself with this other piece, 25$ for this page
but this one piece was unfucking beliveable, the guy who listed it under a mass auction house outt NY, did his best to tell everybody he had a good piece of "outsider/folk" art, listed for 100$, but he left one thing out, he didn't know his last name, roberts, so i watched it and sniped it out, i thought for sure it would go over 360, but know one knew and it quietly slipped by , so i got it, it big framed up douple sided, i have see stuff like this in other places go for 800 plus, i love this piece, i was so excited to win it made my night and and i got smashed over at the house

with as much anxious energy and unnessary tention three guys could create, the move is on...

basicly me and Mr Budd had some "difficulties" if you want to know why i am moving, but luckly i got a better place alone, it can be tuff dealing with folks some time,
and some other news, all my chickens are dead back at the house, @#$!%@%

It too bad our relationship didn't work out, i really liked the guy, its rare to find someone who has the same sinceblitys, he likes bad art tasts, sorta like trashy pop poltergist, i think autobiographal , in retospect, he used alot of hot glue to make stuff

one thing me and jimmy is making, is a nacho cheese volcano, i came up with the idea, its gonna stand 3 foot tall on a table and speu' nacho cheese down a refired bean mounting with japinos pepers natives being gobbled up, plus there will be bacon and sourcream , the trick is how to get the cheese to ooze out of the thing, and maybe explode one time, where there the cheese might get backed up cause its getting hard , it would be a gret party activity, to watch.

Drek the voice of God had a show over at I2I gallery here in San Antonio, it was pretty good, i admire his deligance and focus he has raised the bar some, , it was amazing watching his manic energy at work, he said he loved it, , but is probly dead pooped now from getting about four hours of sleep, over the past two weeks,

this is the cause of it all, , but in the postive side its made me go out and find a new place somewhere, which is going to happen anyway my presants at the house, i am a guest, and i think i have worn my welcome out, so its time to move on

so what else, i am about fatigued after dreks show, on enote that drek made to me is i ma getting to wound up from drinking to much, not alot, but when i paint i like to drink a couple of beers, and get excited, this is where the problems start,

i suppose one of the issues i have had is when i like folks , i assume thay is just like me and i proceed to ham it up a bit , talk trash make fun of each other in good sport, but the problems come when i cann't read folks humor properly and arer basicly just pissing them off, .
like my dad said around the house all the time " George your pissing the women off again!" ahhh
since i don't take myself that seriously i assume other people don't either, and my words are nothing but the words of a court jesture, more out of entertainment, if anything, seriousness sorta always becomes to anxious in the long run,

Alot of this Halloween inspired art could be traced back to Marathon...

somewhere in Marathon i got into a heckle and jeckel comic, and started making work based on it, or copying seens and spinning paintings based off it. i guess the important part of it was this gesture, of making it out in the desart out, in this barn half buzzed or jacked up on coffee, , but some how twisting it around into this abstract last jestural jabb at it all.

I ended up taking to a friend of mine today Serge, man its getting bad, some one should write a book on his bio, i don't have to worry about him reading this he never reads my site,

Serg's site check it outi guess this painting sorta related to serg, or Sergio Rodriguez, i was telling him he needed to hit the streets and be a bum why?

i don't know why but, it seems plauable to just hang out in some back all some where by a dumpster and go mad, make drawings and sell them for what ever, i guess in how to sell Serg, he would want to play a guitar sing and act like he cann't speek english, and tell folks he his homeless to play the part. He is desperate and if you don't want to work , here is another alternative, I remember telling Matt this, as he is raoming the streets of San Marcos, put a pen and draw on anything Damnit, just do it, some one will buy your stuff,!, i think mat said he cann't until he has a dafting table to draw on,.?.
I don't think serg could do the hobo bit it compremise his ego to much to look pathic, plus he made fun of me to much for acting this way, so it goes....

Serg is quiet a character, he is now house sitting somewhere in west lake hills, all his stuff is there, and is now being booted out, he is at a losss on where to go, and is dead broke , from what it sounds like, i told him to come to SA but he doesn't like the place,
with Serg's skills, if he set up somewhere and just started painting or drawinf people, he would make some sales, but i know how he is, his expectations are high, he is like a gambler, the higher the stakes the more he plays, but of course, you can lose at this game,. i have always been lets see what works and slowly build apone it,. cause in this ass'in'nine art gamble nothing works, other than the old bird routine of burring your head in the sand,.

what the hell kinda life is this, i am working around the clock on all this havn't burned out or anything, but i have hemroid and walking is a pain, man it lloud where i live, Mr budd freaks out at night yelling at our neighbors dog, so i can here in the middle of the night on the other side of the hous" shut the fuck up!" and ther is this train, that zips by, we live almost right on the tracks,

I also got into making these rats out of my old socks, for this larg RatTrap maze deal, (photos) later
the grande final master works are gonna be these 8 main paintings and four sculpture projects , and then i am gonna have to "campain" with theme and see what happens,
the Green lake set, is rolling along fine,
in about a month or so all the sets will be layed out again

Two hogs talk devil

the Green lake set is rolling along fine!

last night i got a bit beer buzzed and worked out these eight paintings on the green lake set, they looking great, i will have them all done in a couple of weeks,

humm whats new, the house is fine, we are all getting along, expect my ass is killing me, i think i am gettiing hemroids, its been interesting trying to figure out how they work, some of my frinds blame my diet of tacos and japs, but i think it has something to do with walking around, i don't know what to do,
i also landed two of my pig sex paintings in this space outside Athens GA, to bad i won't be there for the reception

me and drek have been talking about the Bible alot, i tryed to get him to drop everything and hit the road as a traveling art team evanglistis i could imagine somethign would come out of it, one of my favorite places where i had a moment with the lord was, out on these ring of old churches outside Schlinburg Tx, its real old time gothic churchs, they have alot of paintings in the churchs and i thought , "man what a life just working on a building and going on to the next, the art works were don like 150 plus years ago, i thought what it must have been like to be back in those days, and why couldn't they exist now?!?

me and drek have decied to start our own Bible studie, called post modern studioes on the Bible, mainly concentrating on the old testiment, while just this moring we were reading from the book of kings and Drek pointed out to me what happens when a buch of smart ass kids mock a profet of the lord , Elija, a she bear comes out and eats them,. i think its a good idea that me and drek get back to basics, and studie the Word,.
