so the end is near for 2005

a catalog of the "Nacoh Volano will be on view next week, two large sculptures plus 12 smaller works, including the "rattrap donkey kong"

and new efforts to tag team up with VM on this new VooDoo paintings

well a recape of whats been going on in ol'chicken's 2005, this year could be a transition year for chicken, cause of my move here to San Antonio, i am in the big city trying to "make it" so to speek, that move took place in Aug, but prior to it, i wrestled with the house ordeals which about made me nuts.
the chicken house is stil there, wainting, but i am occupyed with this for now and one day i will return,
so whats ahead,
this show Nacho Volcano, the only other serious show was that last show over in Alivn early this year, i had a coulple of minor shows, sales were for shit but, the tatto show in july was an amazing surprise, plus there is the whole ebay activitys, which has spead up what i do , made me think and bulshit with alittle more presicion.
i guess i am going to be exploring the cermaic capablitys , invisioning nacho plates etc,
i don't know but we shall see

I have been busting ass to get shit done, now within a week left, and its now time to gbreak out the crack pipe, and make this shit work, there is two major sculptures i have made and i am round out the designs for this final set i call the rat trap contrapraptions,

one funny thing,
i went back home and gave one of the rats to my sister, she hates rats but i thought she would think its funny , cause they look like plaster stuffed animals, , she cringed with discusted and threw the presant on the ground and said what ever!, i took the presant and said i had made a bunch of them and were selling them for 20 a pop, they were made from my old socks, she ignored me but the way our house is, sinces she is the alfa drama queen in the house, she demanded an apology for ruining her christmas by me pulling a gag, so i quietly took my presant away and gave it to my niegbor who understands my humor about stuff, .
i cann't rember if i went into this before, but i had to explan this to some one about my "bullying nature" , well not nessarly bullying but more or less comical nature, . From what i can figure i am like a person who can sence a person with a chip on there shoulder, these kinda people walk around , never willing to fight but have this presant that if you just dare them, to push thier button they will lose it, they talk all the time about their chips and who has violated or knocked thier chips off, loud emotive outcrys of hate and hissyniss on those who dare do this,.,
well my special skills , mainly being a chicken, is to slip behind these people and all of a sudden their chip falls off with no one watching,.. cause thats there modus operitus, is " hey look what this person did to make me mad" but with no one there to blame thay just get mad,, and start in on the sneeky culperate who did this, of cource to alot of people they look insain, cuase there is no one around to see the dreaded inncedent that made them mad, .
When they catch me, i beg for forgiveness, and they look even more the asshole in the process,
cause thats what they are,
a tight wadded asshole that loves to get mad and vent off on folks cause they are an sad individual to begin with, i guess its my fault for triggering such events , to make it known, maybe i am an asshole to, or a vigilantti

last weeks before 2006

One thing thats gotten me all excited about being in SA, is my exposer to ceramics here, i think i just might have figured out a way out of my finacial dire straits, HEHEHE

i was thinking on creating aline of potter called "chicken head fence pottery" and experment localy, with it, and see what happen,

things here are sure alot more boring, here, no one to bug, no drama, one thing i do enjoy is stairing at my blank walls of my apartment, , hummm so help me out , out there and ask me a question, for public discorce,,

sample day, work

after this last weekend driving around i decied , the whole geren lake idea should be kicked out, so they were blown off the strecters and rolled away, all five of them ,probabley headed over to Brenham studio, for later rediscovery,

so my typical day here, i wake up at about 8 or so drive over to the studio , cause i have my coffe machien here, what a good way to get outta bed, i am a bit hung over from last night, today i am figuring out the pedistols for these two large pieces, "fucking dead rats fucking" and the "rattrap outhouse", i am makig the walls that will in case both of these pieces, . in addtions, to this is about five cologe/ mix media deals , for the show, none nowhere near compelete, , i think one reason i am a bit hung over was smelling tar, from last night, one painting i did, "Tar and feather", you can really feel the efects from smelling tar, . And there is about three-six drawings, i am working on, basicly these blueprint drawings -

In additions i am trying to figure out how to get a new card made for the site, with out breaking my credit bill,

and i also have anther coffee shop show in San Marcos Joe on the Go, alot of my ebay rejects are going to go there, , plus some spares, etc
and constrcut this bookelte for the rattrap sculptures, sorta like a zine catalog, i have the first couple of pages layed out, on the rattrap maze deal,

well the way i figure it, i am going to problably going to go into paintings that deal with spacial issues, lines, i can see,
i am stil trying to get done with what i figure is, this falls master set, 12 paintings and 4 sculptures, the Green lake set is going to be a bitch, i cann't paint while i am drinking, being here in my apartment, (one of the drawbacks) so i am land locked in this one phaze with the pictures, i need to get fucked up onece or twice to sorta say , ok thats its , its done,.
one person told me that coffe and beer add an extra feeling to stuff, , problaby one of the most acurate phazes to date, the drugs make you feel good and one plows threw problems easy, its artificial,.
well what the fuck, i would hate to paint when i feel like shit,., but being sober i seem less antimated and things done seem to whip it up as easy but i, would degree to much coffe or beer, on both directions and i find the way to paint with no music nothing completely dry, and find its path on the paintings arrive of being complete,.

back ant my apartment, i havn'y lived like this in years over 15 to think about it, i like its clean bright , and there is a tub to relax in, i am doing cologes now watching everything WB has on the tube, alot of drawing about the rattrap stuff, i am going to make a body of work around this like city scape,

ahh, my truck is back to normal!, i thougt it was something major but ended up being a battier termanl deal, always check the obvious, but it threw me into a delima, !

well i went to the campfig opening of Bill Ivys show, it was fun, the show consisted of shotgunned sheetrock and the crownd ened up destroying the majority of the pieces, in a mad drunken frolick
it was fun joking around with all the boys about stuff and what not,.
so know i am trying to figure out how to gfix my truck the started moter went out from what i can figure, it also died in mid flight, badd news,!, so i am grounded here in San marcos, , i have shit to do in Sa next week, humm what to do today, i guess figure this shit out, if its solvable today?

View imagewas driving around thinkning about the whole gangbang deal, my girlfrined flipped when she read the entry, she called me up and started in on me about the whole deal, , most of my remarks were ,"hey its on haoward stern!" i think i am going to approach these two massive figuretive sculptures of like female power super heriorns type of stuff, the A-boo grab prison scandle and the houston 500 deal, , mainly the Aboograp thing , there is this one classic line i heard on CNN bout the deal when it was happening, they interviewd an Iraq'e about the scandle about what he thought and him and his buddy two older gentalmen on the streets of Bagbad, said , " i would rather be beet and tortured than be treated like a woman" hummm, make you wonder, . maybe i saw that on SNL news, but it would be real funny making a prison of the with all the torments of hell , from those photos, and having an man standing outside the thing saying this quat with all these GI Janes dancing around posing etc, the Houston 500 gangbang deal , i could see this real powerful Italian woman having sex, and all the pale whimpy guys fat and hairy geeks all nude and lined up, , i don't know i would have to watch the video to get ideas, but the main idea is Houston and her fluffers lining all these guys up like cattle, sorta woman empowering, i don't think tonya would agree, but, hey thats what happen in the video!

i just got threw with them , what to do now?,,, hummm, i have an outhouse, ill show later, i was thinking on making a prison of the ab'ograb thing and then there was this other, project i had in mind, called a gangbang,
it seemed to get me into some trouble with the lady folks i know, why, ?
i was thinking on making a sculpture piece of this gang bang, now let me explain all this,
you see, on the net, or in the porn world , there is this phenonimen of the gangbangs or these porn actreses taking on a bunch of guys. in a group setting,. but with the computition to be the biggest hoe or porn starlet, they started treating it like a sporting event and top porn actreses start taking on larger groups of men in like this medea event banaza , called "so'n'so takes on # of men" i rember the Houston 500 hundred deal, i think i also rember seeing it on Howard Stern, thats where this come from, he brought all this to light, there are dozens of movies made like this, well
the point being is, i was telling some of the lady folk about this idea and they got all upset saying i needed to take responciblity, if i dare make such an sexist piece, i thougth well what if it was a gay gangbang, but none the less a gangbang like a seen taken from one of those porn movies, , well the lady folk wasn't getting any more relaxed about me talking about this in such a lite hearted matter, they was screaming and foaming at the mouth about the gual of me sugesting this wasn't sexist .,.,it went so far as them saying it would be alright if someone (who got offended by this) about what i might make and they just might go over there and smash the thing! if it were to ever bless the floors of an uppydee gallery or something,. , i say yea thats alright its all part of the process, i would be amazed that any one would get mad, seeing on what tv all the time, hell ,art's tame compared to that, they went on about moral responciblity about the gangbang isssue like it was a crime to make a piece about gangbangs, i went into the psyche of the acterese and how they get them selfs all psyched up to do this thing, i saw it on Stern!,.
but that seemed to just make them madder, telling me i shouldn't ever make something so irresponcible, like if mooned them and they were stuck with that impression of my hynee ..,.,, Forever! an abomnation!

they it decended over to my blaten assholeness, (all that bullying crap a while back) about who do i think i am to make a gangbang piece, i thought man, is there stuff i just cann't make, i said well what if i have some woman sign off on the bit, and say she made it, lie a swinger culture deal art piece,? hey what gives,.
but my crys of sypathy fell on deaf ears, like a shark who has tasted blood in the water that knew i migh be a sexist, he is in there somewhere.
well may be just a smart ass at best,

check out this guys work , he presented this like Christian buisness building full of brown rabbits, the thing looked like it weighed a ton, It had all these multi white lights on it from all sides, and stood about 3 feet or so, mirrows and a touch tome light system, it was impressive, to say the least ..check out his site!!!!

i like this guys site too, its pretty interetsing, there is a predomintate urban look all around SA, more in penmanship or how some of the street graf hiphop compose stuff it looks like prison art only in regards to the ways they use pencel and work all these abstactions into a narritve, Alex Lopes comes to mind, 123ad he jumps all over the place but he has this slick look, i think he was a car painter, no media person, none the less they are are pretty good, the building he made , , i would have never guessed some one who made this kinda work could have made the rabbit building,.,.
