this is a studie he did for these three bug like creaters he had haning from the ceiling,
i think they drove some people nutz,
one of my fav moments

and you have to understand JARR to apprecite this ,
is well we had this crit, and we had this guest art guy who sorta took a differance to JARRs work , charterising it as heavy metal band props ,or head shop imagery, i remember , siting ther in crtit listing to this guy sorta make fun of the pieces lack of impact,
in a dazed, built up delivery about what and how his work may work, i told, him listen , what if these pieces
called apolicitic brain brain suckers bug, were called a band or a song, and your standing ther listing to this band play about the post nuclear wasps that are comming to suck your brains out and your jamming out to this thrash band and you look the fuck up and see these sculptures, you would be like
what the fuck these fucking bugs are here , fuck man !
so i was trying to sorta express the art of all this is impact, where it lyes might not be of "mature" venues,
but then who gives a fuck
its all religion anyway.

yeap my birthday went pretty good

JARR and scruffy. . scruffy sorta lost it at the birthday party ,maybe it was to much chicken legs or salsa , but she was on this kick to act like a chicken , she was hopin and hallaring all over the place flapping her wings, needless to say JARR wasn't impressed,. your gonna have to do a hell of alot better than that ,.to perswade chicken george to mate with you.!

it was of the few if any, that anybody of mine threw a birthday party with cake candle the whole works, it was fun,

Anna made, me two cheese cake pies, from scratch , rememberr Anna from the "night out with the ladys", she is from Mexico,
I told her , you know what it means when you give a man your pie, she said , no what,?
it means you want to have mucho babies with him and you gave me two,

"ohh and they was goood pies to,"
as a matter of fact there was two more cakes there one was a choclote cake that mimi made (jimmys nacho buddies )wife, and lural bought a apple pie and stacy brung some icecream, but i knew the pies were home made, and so was mimi's birthday cake, thanks a million!

but the cake, Mexican cheesecake pies are made differntly , i know this , they make these pies real rich and dence,
my neighbors back home the Vages made homemade Cheesecake they were PeatroRicoains(sp)
i like to freaze them and eat it like candy,.
one of the problems i found out that, I left the cakes here in the fridge and some of the folks started to go in on them the next day,. i was irrated by who would eat my pies and cakes,.
so i went bonkers on who the culperates, where?

i rember Anna saying that
"listen george i made the pies for you" in this realy sweet Mexican Fench accent , its so other worldly like,
", they are my gift to you for your birthday, and somebody had violated the our pies,"
i started thinking yea like what the fuck! yea! who did this,,.

Ahh but none the less i want to thank all the folks who came and contributed to my birthday, thanks it means alot

here is one guy i got to know , larry santa, as everybody calls him,
he does the santa gig during christmas, but on his off days he is an artist, making tortured santa art sorta, or figures that look like assyrian gods..
Its been fun swapping BQQ storyies and life on the border stories with him, women and tales of gettingfucked up

Well iits a cool overcast on this day
i have three bags of chickenlegs stuffed with pinapple and serono pepers , four cornish hes, pork rib back, sausgae chapple hill, a salsa,nachos

so i am just chillin talking to folks, but its a b=nice day to drink coffe and sorta realise its the pre begining to the introduction of the end
last night scrufyy came by we spent a good evening talking about stuf, she cleen my kitchen up and helped me arrage stuff,
she sure is special,
and i was issuesd a gag order from her not to talk about private parts or overtly sexual bizness,, cause that never happen, !

here is an unbelieveable score off ebay, a 40 year old year old painting of the first appearance of daffy duck, in the cartton, it was an odd cartton cause what i rembered about it was daffy pinching porkys nose, ,hummm, well low and behold some one make a relief or sculped copy of it with weeds put into the glass shadow bx jim mcdonough made the item, i ended up getting it for 2 bucks off ebay,! what a prise!

one of the funny note about hanging out with Jarr is the contrasts of musical taste theta get preformed here in the studio, luckly he is a metal head like i am , so we sorta dominate the envoiroment,. But to my amusement i am trying to sell AC/DC to JARR alot, he sorta like AC/DC back when he was in junior high, but it just seem like stupid jock rock now, whooo, wait a minitue
, I remember complaining about this to drek , grieving about the gen gap deal like what the fuck a metal head doesn't like AC/DC,
Drek's taste is old nordic opera style metal very theatrical and mythic based, i am more 3 cord bluse bs rythem and screamers, like Plant, but Jarr , what the fuck,
Drek said that the 80's rock was to much for the 90's gen it was way to egotistical, man based ,hero crap and it -metal music -went way to introveted,(grung) and so 80 shit was hated alot (AC/DC included) he went on to say the sex ,partying and getting fucked up and songs about your wiener were dead, and the 90's angst riddel moral green punks had a differnt message for asshole like me, he went to say assholes like me probely beet up freashmen young aspirieng punks or that marylin mason rage machien type of stuff, or that faggot in screaming pumpkins or REM whinners sissy shit
but then there is Metalical
well we both like the same music, but his gets to thrash based speed puck type stuff, where the fucking rythem?!

one thing i agreed with drek about was the contrast of the gen's in metal 80's to 90's. he helped me understand why the 90's crownd hate my AC/DC stuff alot, except for Rednecks and the local SA rock seen, metal has never died here

so here is what i am working on for thursday, these two pics,

today was a pretty boring day , the humiity is way up, and it raining,
one note, I ende up taking to Kent Rush about this artist Jerry Alexander

this artist Alexander had a show ohhh way back in the early 90's when i was going to alvin college, we went into houston to go look at gallerys etc and his show was up over at harris gallery, i was with this prof, ABBA welihorski, ( an old Polish modernist) that was selling work in houston, 65 plus) well i was aking him how alexander made these really stylied landscapes like expressive hill counrty scapes real whippy like we argued over you cann't teach techique etc but me being such a HOW TO GUY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HE THOUGHT, ABBA went into this old school moderist rant about the spirt and style, i guess it was like a clash between the pragmatics and romanitc, but now being 37 i would be like ABBA , fuck you shut up and and just make your own style, i guess i would speek to some geek that was leaning on me, ahhhh
well kent knows the guy, and he teaches up in Austin some where,
i always liked this guys work it wa sliek a great style so counrty it fit perfectly in the hill counrty ridge, it was not realitic more impressionist but in an odd palet greys way, he was from Beorne.

ABBA was great he was old school flirt and kissed everybody you couldn't have a proff these days he had this thick accent and charm, so people sorta excused him except as i rember this wacked out prudish Christian student leveled sexual harrasment charges against him and he was dismissed, well its Alvin folks

man this is getting easyer,
the two pictures are of this set i am working on for thursday, the one on the top is being chipped into the main set, something i call "beet up house" made of matchstickes old comics and sawdust, i like this new set its like the best of the new combunations or elements, thus being sawdust etc, the one on eht bottem is something i started last year,
in the fucking rats dept, i got the idea from driving down town, but i sorta clean it up and now its called" rats say fuck you snakes" made with saw dust and paint.

yea the scruffy deal is blown now its gotten so bad that , when i had her hold up my rat trap ms pacman, for a photo shot i though how great it would be to have her topless over the piece , and submit it to a show, kinda like the sex appeal selling, but i couldn't convince her to take her top off , but she did lift her shirt up a quarter, and rest one of her tit on my rat trap ms pacman, i have a phot but the stupid thing is to big to put on the site(i am working on it) so i got a quarte of a boob, yea thats where i stand is just a quarter of on boob, , yea thats it

so what else?
i also concieved of another painting, right here right now based on a velox ward painting, those kinda counrty kitch pics of a porch seen, well of me playing the banjo singing, and scruffy off to the side, drinking a beer showing me the crack of her ass, ,,.
but wait
whats the meaning of this is, whats the role of my art is sorta all about, one would have to drive way out of there way to approach the porch and hear me sing these stupid ltttle songs,,. and enjoy my ramblings

I guess time has a way and much like joshs conclusions as to why he is back in san marcos, there need to be something, anything, the art bizness can be torture if your igg-ner-rant, Mke and scotts ideas , well more scott was still this hippy loathing or gulit that art has to be a buisness in some way you sell stuff, there is a way to creat a "careeer" or rep over the deal, some folks can't seem to handle that, with out recoilng in art's purity of art for art, kinda esotericism, My fowl language and practical senses sorta challeged them and well it was entertaning,
Thats what me and joshs talked about were it all goes but one thing we both agreed apon was "work sucks!!!"

One of the funny things about getting f-up with Bill was we talked about the history of weed, i told him that ther is now way i could abuse this drug cause i would go sqiuitziod like crazy matt, these guys smoke regualry all there life, i couldn't understand how they do it with out having a nervious break down, i told him that they must not have any sences to lose, like you had to be exceptioanly dumb or something, but maybe its just i am to tightly wound, or neurotic ,

well last night bill ivey came by, and spent the night we watched fear factor, and agreed its satanic!
the things they make these people do is a bit odd,
i am recovering from an hang over, too, so a whole day is shot,

i got this weekend to try and get done with the castle deal, its getting more complicated by the min.
Eventually i am going to get a lap top here in the next week or so, so i can write on the move,
