night of the nachoes

so my trip over to houston was fun

i ened up setting up at lawndale art center, and threw a catoring gig for about 58 buck, made a lot of food,
my samon mackerl dip picodegalo, and sourcrem celantra dip, , we ran out of chips, to fast,
i was serving the food some of the times, and i was watching some of my favorite characters hit my little nachos display , like the gallery goers grazers, these are people ussaly old men who show up to these events and litterly treat it like a welfare mother at a cici pizzas buffet,no hold bar, they slam it till they cann't walk away, i sat right across from this one guy and started asking him how much he ate and it probly isn't good for him to have my nacho cheese little smokies dip, like how much could you eat,
no but that didn't stop him, i went on to talk about how much i could eat and how i would throw up , and how to make the food, like secret pepper recites,

then this one kid showed up maybe 8 or nine and filled up this cup of chips and pork rines, i thought whoa wait , take it easy , you ain't gonna eat all that, the chips are getting low, his mother came and grabed him, and the funny thing was after a while he came back and emptyred his cup back into the tray, only the pork rines, .,
and then there were the ladys who i knew would not eat that serrno peper they put on thier plate and some of my mackeral dish,
and dammnit there it was in the bottem of the trash can,.
i almost had to go into the restroom to take a breather, and say to myself , i didn't pay for this food, it doesn't mater george, calm down, its just fucking food.

as the night drew on betweeen jimmys jumping around in his big green suit and richies smoke and sound machiens, i ended up getting a bit drunk and started getting on peoples cases talking about the food, and wielding my cleaver around, its amaziing how scare people are,
the place, jimmy and richie showed wanted richie to tie up all his cords for safty reason, richie refused, but it got uncomfortable for them to take these huge "risks" like this, geeze! there in an art gallery people are more aware of what they are entering, what are they retarded!
its all this safty insurance crap! its going to be the ruin of America i can count on it!
i think its quiet funny, this contrat with mauling of America and art gallery,
like they had a show called
"hey were are going to blow this place up, literally"
and some museu m or gellery person would think its great, and cute, untill the people startd showing up explosives,
"hey you said we could do this?"

but over all it was a great time,
ill have som phots of the whole deal soon,

So what else is new

the site is still ahhh need some kinks knocked out of it,,.
this weather sux, cold and raining, i can feel myself getting fat, just sitting around here, i like the sun,
one thing i think i have landed a house here at the end of the year a shotgun shck but it will do, i can finnaly get back into my old skin , this neet and ditty living is geting to me, ,
one thing i like about the movie the good bad and ugly , the romance of the cowboy is powerful or out law, this pastyface suberian just seems ill to me, something i want to run away from here, i belive i would be a hell of alot healthier just starving out on some shotgun range here,
, i think one of my last projects is going to be some massive cowboy painting set here, that movie TGTBTU would be a good start, i wanted to place me and richie and drek as the characters in the movie like fan art replacement,.

this week

well this week is about to unfold

i have to go over with jimmy and richie to set up a catoring gig, of me doing nachoes at lawndale, it should be fun, then zip back over here to devlope a show over at the satilite space, with Josh ,sat- threw when ever, i also figured out about what to replace the Royal piece with, this thing on fan art and friday th13 it should be interresting?

plus two new paintings oddly enough,
its going to be these maze paintings, must be Redford flashbacks.

i ended up watching one of my all time fav movies last night "the good the bad and the ugly" .
Back in houston in the seventys that was all that was on tv, back in those days, you had three channels plus two other 26 and 39, and pbs, but i would swaer a couple of times a year, that movie would come on late at night, i almost revier this movie as an exsistenal ironic macabe masterpiecs, it served as an inspirationa for me as a kd, and started the cowboy outlaw things, its a great movie next to planet of the apes , silent running , and billy jack, those were all my favs back when i was a kid but this move,.,. is something special,
like you get the idea, of a grand narritive loooming over these characters, and play with there ambitions and fate
the sound trac is unbelieveable , i my opinion, next to Halloween,

went pimpin'chicken george extreme,(thats how i aqured the scruffy deal and why it ended, the mask came off) so it was out of character, but fun, i like being put on the spot by strangers, its like some kind of therapy were the questions, ask.... i ponder

this one lady came up to me and i went about all out in trying to ask her out on a date, gave her a painting with my # on it...

the idea came from this old psyche proff, actually he was a brain surgain, and he was braggin how they figured out how to control the eye site of a cat from this computer, which was hooked up to the cat,.

this is not going to be easy this semester, i can tell already, as a matter of fact i have figured out the bulk of what i would call high pax romana is now till about aug. of this year the giest of the production is now,
its like moving loggs!
so its better to just make it one at a time

since its late at night and cold out i am finnishing off the cologes, i quiet like them,
then its on to the converstion of a Royal robertson piece, i am makig a model of this wierd haunted grave yard , that Royal made on the back of this painting, i own, i am going to put them up as a pair, his drawing and my copy of it to a 3d modle relief, it should be fun,
-- it got me thinking about ol mark todd a prof back in San Marcos, he copyed notes, or experssionist writting found or bought from prisons of crime files, . looking over the robertson pies its loaded with writing about his wife and wierd sayings, i am going to try ad copy it , it feel like i am peering into these private toughts of this guy,
i wonder what he would have thought that if some one would have made a copy of this on such a scale , and be shown?

i wrote an article about it, the profiling chacrater, or the secret ways of the profile to track the minds of madmen and murders,
I think the first movie in the "silents of the lambs" was based on it , "man hunter", . people love detective novels, and profiling, at least this new genra has created a whole new chapter on crime shows based on this.
I could imagine art making could be spun around the same zone alot,
