Friday 13th stuff

Well i am back at this level of stuff...
You know in retrospect about what i am making

in a nut shell as i was talking to ricks about this , about how they said they do not drink when the paint, i would say well your more honest i think when you had a couple, and i said, wel i am a bit better, .. but , from the photo above i want to talk about the secret world of artist intent and visual images, that get mimiced well those above i was wondering why i was back on the friday th 13 deal, now havin freddy kruger in the deal, and this idea of writiing a story, along side it, hummm kinda like bacon esk star wars characters in a mark todd landscape, some old gas station of white trash notes, this gesture to reenact, totally mark todd style, this detective, and element of the superhero, thanks Danial J, but i would say, ever since ohhhh 1988 i have been up to this bizness, , alot of fangoria and silly fan art, but where does it go? maybe a testimony of a male , sublimations of a butcher

one of the htings i thiought aboout while in Chicago was, how many uniquly fucked up sceens are there in Chicago and abroud willing to be made public and sorta apprciated,?
the home of greats as Wesly Willis , Lee godie, joe yokeum(sp), H Dargen, etc there is such a history,
but i would gamble evry place has its own psychos , burried in its trash, and not yet exploited by the art fuckers who probably couldn't stand them when they were alive,
one of the bitter ironyies , i was reminded by rewatching the ed wood doc. was is you just don't know, and after your dead, you will never know, cause there is no way of knowing cause you dead.

Merck studio warehouse Chicago

One of the places we went to was this guy's warhouse , micheal Merck, i think he is moving to austin,

One thing i like about Chicago is there is old warehouse galor! what a fucking place! i took photos of some of his paintings, and there were these two other guys there watching utube , one heavy set beared fellow and an skinny one kinda punk rock, at one moment they started laughing alot, and were makeing each other smell each others arm pit, hummm

I know he is a painter, the work looks like graffiti line drawings from mags alot of layering ,
The place had this dusty hug to it, like an old office space,

well, i got to hang out with dolan in his studio, which is underneathe his apartment

here has all sorts of projects in the space flaoting around, one thing i think we both share is this love for junk and old throw away kinda things maybe nastaglic but there is something there to be explored, he has boxs of like odd assortments, mainly thinkgs he found in old houses from Virginia, he said crap around here in Chicago is hard to get everything good has been thown away here, and now its just new trash,

thats one thing i realised being from texas to up there , is that its so freaken cold that nothing just lays around, the winter makes trash freaze up or gets put away, here, for example like an old chair you could leave outside for years, nothing much would happen to it,.

Dolan had like a dozen projects in the works, alot of things he kick started but had to put aside, it was like walking into a sketch book, of sorts,

Harry underwood

Harry came down from Nashville, he was fun to talk to , sorta quiet actually we sorta showed up at Dolan's place expecting to catch some run off babe action, from this crazed redneck show of power! there in Chicago, well i wouldn't exactly call us "rednecks" or even extrme ruralist types, more Grant Wood geeks,. but the night of the opening one major hottie did show up and we got to talk to her over at Dolan studio, i guess that was the highlight, of the show,

one thing i would say about being up there is was cool but oh so creepy, i could see how people live up there, to much indoor activity, i like th outdoors , make your skin breathe,.

one of the high light to the arrival up there, well, i got there early on , thursday, and i helped dolan put the show up or, really clean up the place alot, he did a whole rock job on the space, which was much needed, it looked good,,. well i was in this place in Chacago called the Fine artz building located on michigan street, a really old building, there was even an elivator operator in it, , well we loaded up a load of sheet rock and trash and loaded it on the freight elevator, i have never seen an old style building before , maybe 30's style, in its making, well we got on to the elevator, it had no ceiling to it and you could see the cables
well it opened up to this ally
a cold humid breaze hit me, looking up at these tall buildingings, and there was a real bum wrapped in a old sleeping bag waling around, i handed dolan all the scraps and he moved them over to this dumpster, it was amazing, like some sorta gangsta movie.,
that was thursday,
we went back to his place and ate at this real neet place called "Feed" ,.

that friday i awaited Harry underwood, the other artist in the show,

Well the show went over,
pretty good more tonight!
when i had a couple off beers

and i just confirmed my next leap in to another studio, in sept, a shotgun house, rent, 250$ can you believe it!

Green maze deal

well i had to cleean up my studio and get back on this string of works related to the Music box maze deal comming up

count down to my first plane ride , last was 82, and i threw up,

well actually i was young, it was a fake throw up to just get over the anxiety, of throwing up, was i gonna do it on a plane,?
now i have just accepted the fate that i am going to die, humm there seem to be no anxiety about that, i might eat eight mcdonalds sausage biizuats before i get on and have such massive indigestion that i would wish i would have died, on the trip , be in like a greese coma, thats one thing i have realise i cann't eat so much, i had a hamburge yesterday and i was layed out for the rest of the evening, geeeze...

well another month is turned

i am getting burned out here, ready to move around some bit,

these were th two differnt versions of the cats, the first one was to big, so i made a smaller one, and kicked out the two big ones,
