Well time marches on
being that Aug is just about here,
i feel its the last lap of this last great show, headed towards Rrose show
So i better get cracking, one thing this computer is like an addiction, this lap top is almost like having a personal buddie around, its riduclas, how it can suck you in, last night i figured out how to get skype on here, and talked to ol red mud via webcam in my studio, odd, isn't it, i might try and get something wierd like a live studio cam but that might be to much, where would that lead me, ahh i don't even want to know.
one thing, i realised and i used to joke about this with one of my last girlfriends alot was the advancement of all this tech , i could imagine a G.P.S-webcam-cell phone - attached to a cap or hat and being forced to where it as a child, so the mothers would know what your up to to make sure your "safe" it also works with boyfriends, to the money making here is endless, you could watch your child form a web cam as they enteract with other folks and you could yell at them at any moment, and know their exact where about,.,. man just dosen't this sound like the new biggest thing for overly protective mothers out there, its all the security paranoia that make this work, we have been condition to belive this, (fate and free will won't exisit under insurances and safty centric bs

Already i noticed here in the complex people walking around with this like wierd toy attached to there ear, like a hearing aid, hummmm, i wonder if any long term studies have been made about planting a device so close to the brian, all the time, giving and recieving signals,

but having a live studio cam, ahhh i would become peroccupyed about who is watching out there, its to much of distraction, geeezes, i am already becoming nervious about the net, , and this blog site, but one thing i found odd in the whole private / public debate, is when your open for buisness nobody stalks you, nobody, but when your hidding away on the net, people want to prie you open,

ahhh so it goes, but the net is starting to rule my life, and ebay forget it , its like an addiction, me and ol red mud are totaly addict to the net and ebay, he said he tryed to quit for a couple of days but after 24 hours you feel out of touch with the world, and wonder whats been happening, its badd, real bad when you have work up there, on the block, i like it ,
i figure, and i know this has total tanked my career over it, that anything that brings you a grain of excitement is worth it,

maybe professionalism and career building is like art school groomed consumerism, no one would dare say, as an artist my work is worth less than,.,,.,., a beer, maybe thats the scarid cow here in all this, artificaly inflated sence of a career in regards to hold stock price up as to not fly into penny stocks, hummm
Well , here is the things to come. I know when i start slowing down a bit , its when ever i get into to much planing, but none the less, here is a small project i did over the weekend, humm the Mrs pacman rat traps, what will become of it,? . most likely into storage the thing weighs a ton but i got some showing plans with it . as for now all efforts are put into the last show, here, in the RRSATX studio, then its over the shotgun house, down town,, it should be different, i am looking forward to the change and so ends this phaze here,

So what going down, well the C-art show, and Rrose Amarillo show this fall plus the venture out to Marfa,. the main show is going to be the Rrose show, which i have been trying to complete, but i am a bit burned out,, its going to be the summit of the kinda art i like to make, and i would say this one book above all has helped me out alot "Redneck Manifesto" by jim Goad is a great piece of work, . its helped me clarify things about my taste and how i gots them,.
Basicly the show and all its designs, is like construction not made by bar trash but made to entertain trash, video games, bling-bling, scray warnings, and moral tales sorta go into this arcade culture that i would have this land or settle in, Clute Texas, why Clute,.
cause its the most cultureless place i have found in Texas., really, its so devoid of any kinda attractiveness that what's there is purely functionable , its just something about the place,

that would lead my mind to wonder what kinda art would entertian folks there, in a nonpartoning left wing, anti-America kinda way or Anti Texas.

This weekend what surfed my mind, well one funny antidote and i have to keep a lid on it, so to speeak , but one thing i have noticed around here is how neurotic and sencitive people are, ( i didn't do anything) but lisitng to several storys about folks and the "dramas" it amazing how people just don't want to deal with life ,and avoid it with this new edicate or legal edicate , its like the law is used to protect us from life itself, , mainly in dealing with conflicts, with other people, i always say it comes form a lack of trust, but i think if you can be treatened easly then the trust barior is mighty small, another thing that set me off was is what i call my value structures impuning some one elses, do i have the rights,hummm fuck yea! i do, if its about ethics or opinions about people maybe but as long as i am not bullheaded about it, well, i always factor in fairness but sometimes some ones actions or lack there of or opinions of , need to be challeged , its called life, this is what happens, people disagree about stuff,
all of it reminded me when i was in junior college over in Alvin, ohh way back there, 88-90, i was such an debate mongler, that i would front being a Babtist to be joined to the college BSU, Babtist student union to argue with folks, all i really wanted to do was talk about ethics and reality, but none them would have it, its like talking automechanics to a auto salesman, they go one model to sell, the salesman,l, thats it. But back in the hayday of hanging out with these two Babtist guys , i remember, talking to them about what movies they could watch, they were mad because there was nothing to take there dates to see that was Christian approved, the only thing left was "G" rated, i start to bring up the case it was ok to see an R-rated move but it was to much for them to deal with . i started asking them alot of question as to what there famliy life was like and it dawn on me that these two guys had been sheltered form everything in life, "everytthing of the world is wicked and sinful" To my ideas, it all goes back to the mothers who are protecting there little Christian boys form being involved with anything dangerious, which is about 90% of whats out there. I thought my God what the fuck is wrong with you guys, don't you realise that this whole puratanic / famliy centric works are really your folks keeping you from ever leaving the house, ahhh, i guess it was all me plotting Babtist cowardice to Texas centric beer drinking crudness , who would you look up to, a Ned Flanders or a Hank Hill, would culture cure religion, i guess everybody is differnt, but some people its like dealing with life, maybe its my role to intimidate them with life, or sugeste something differnt. Oddly no matter how comfortable one gets from watching tv, as to what aceptiable and not, there are alot of folk who have turned it off, . Maybe there is some wisdom to it but then again, one doesn't really fear fire unless he is burnned, and those with out a life, usualy develope fears about stuff they will never do to begin with, but ham on about it forever.

- this is art made of obsesions, media ,trivia popular culture, it patholiically driven to be ironic, the artists are neorotic about the "art scene" ,essotetic about pop trivia, self absorbed in regard to personal value whats it worth or them, disclaiming, political in the helplesness of the situwation, , conspircy minded in what makes things happen,. alot of energy put into something with out merit.- lazy ,everyday outsider mislead genious kinda stuff.

last night i ened up going over to herolds, to bs ,etc, i feel guilty for getting on his case, but, i figured its must be some kinda wierd therapy, etc, well its about the ideas, of the inventions. He is an inventor type, i have never meet anyone like this, he straddles the ideas like fantsy vs reality, like are these real inventions or some scifi idea? i what bugs me is i think he thinks the ideas are real invention , it just happen to be he thought of the idea first, maybe,
ther happen to be a box cutter there, he works at walmart and he had this really cosmetic box cutter knife walmart issued, i thought, , what the fuck is this knife for, it had an on and off switch about five gadgets to prevent cutting yourself a it was an amazong piece of unpractical work, it had now realsitic function other than, insurance medical prevention issues, it was made in China,
well the point to it was, the guys who invented this blad weren't making it to be practical but had to satify two principals, one it had to be safe the other was did it work or even function?
I rattled on about how there had to me a mad cap Chinese engineer all cought up in designing this thing, believe me if you saw it, you would know, that nobody could really afford it in comparson to other box cutters, so why did it exsist?

well back to Herold, i think he is really a writter type k=just letting his imgination go in free fall, i said the test would be if any of these things come to pass, its like some one who shows me boooks of chapeters to great ideas for a stories, and he likes to thump threw them and show you these ideas or concepts for inventions , not that i am down playing the ideas practicality, but there seems to be a loss of common sence to them,?

this reminds me of this one time, oh
back in Noah's land, this drive thur animal park my friends famliy owned, Tom, this old high school buddie of mine , well he is sorta crazy and obsesive, and abusive, come think about it, told me about the fainting goats, as seen above, he was in this large goat pen or mix animal pen trying to find the fainting goat he knew was mixed in there, so for about a half an hour i watched him chase all the goats, trying to scare them, and none would fall over, so in his determination to prove there was a fainting goat he thought he had to teaches them how to faint, (it was Tom you have to know him to understand this stupidity) and well he started catching each goat of animal and flipping them over on there side to see if they would faint?, it went on for a while until he said fuck it an quit, but i sat in amazement wondering what the fuck the animal in the pen thought the keeper was up to this morning,?
