Scott and Willie over at the Satilite space.

Well i have time to talk about all this here,.
lets see where to begin.

Both of these artists i spent alot of time hanging out with over at UTSA, when i was over there, When i first started i came into the dept with Jar , so we were the only two, then along came Scott and Willie was a transplant. the bulk of the time was spent around these three guys, as Jimmy, Richie, and Brian went out,.
Its funny being back in school and talking with new people i really got along good with Willie, we were both movie nerd Romantics, (not romanitc like love storys) more war glory and twisted destiantions about life. His art pretty much stayed the same but got more refined and he took a few deviations but it always had this heavy handed look to it, like temple stones or perscritptions to an alchemist handbook,. The Show looked really good i think the uniformness was good this being earth colors Black and White very basic nothing out of control about the colors,.
Scott's work i was surprised to see he hadn't made anything like this before but they had a sorta Twisted side to them like devises used to controle monkys. The monkys weren't polished or anything either sorta thrown together, Which was interesiting. The fomrs became reduced to sugest some S/M senerrios to but i would say knowing Scott ithink they are some of the best things he has made so far.

One of the interesting things about getting to know all these guys is watching these show come together. Kinda like the accumlations of additude-work and skill to be put on display now the hard part is trying to get more shows, and maintaining this surg coming off school. it can be tuff but it isn't the work as so much just life. ahhhhh

I was good hanging out there, or returning back, i need to write up a whole bit about UTSA , i sorta kept it out of CDC here cause i thought it was borring and i didn't want to use the site to start complaining about stuff , believe me i already did with my assorted bitches and i start become obsesse with what i wrote about,. plus my loathing for fine art world politics , it would be to tempting to just get on here an start "criting" people to easly but...
UTSA is a differnt subject its more about college and Achidimia (i can never spell that word) its about what i believe an artists life is about ,good ol Van Go -Gau'gone kinda stuff and how the college setting is corrupting it by watering it down so fucking much you just don't know what your tasting any more,(mainly state schoole) keep in mind i have a very limited view of "art school" UTSA - SWT thats its. but i would say that even with the smallest teams, playing the game they should get more into it cuase there is nothing to lose or gain, its all about the game, but whats going on now as College's abuse and corrupt the name of ART, they have made this game so sissyfied that it ain't about the game more about dressing up to play this game. its embarrising,
ahhhhh , i could rant on about this for along time,. needless to say i won't be hire no where,
fuck it i should start my own school,.
