Its funny cause, the time line is simlar to what happen ten years ago, i was here , left and came back, in fall of 1999, i was living here, with serg, he had a studio right down the road, i went back sept 1 to kick out a bad roommate in San marc chicken house still had a thing for this woman, who i was dating back there and her exe boyfriend who was a painter too, came out to Redford to live,. so when i got here Joey was here wanting to meet me, he had already got hold of serg , over the next few months the sparks began to fly,

Maybe ill talk about what happen ten years ago in relation to now,
So i am back to work i have fomr what i figure four big projects to grapple before the year is up , and Justin splits outta here,

So folks
i guess since i was over in the brenham studio and needed something to do and i created this mini sketch painting set
So whats this set about well i will keep up load stuff to explain it

"Two farmers argue over black Goat" click for link yeap you can see ol red looking at this other farmer as he eyeballing his goat, ," i think there is something i get in trouble about eye ballling or looking , people notice it when you look, maybe this a wierd culture thing,. One of the funny things about being in Redford was i was reminded how white i was, not me notice in who is around but , these selected folks who like to point out culturel differance, one was "Anglos like to stair you down , as opposed to Hispanics who never look at each other" there is a whole back ground to is as White folks like to dominate , look here i one thing they do,. Farmer i guess since they are dealing with the farm and stock get personal about what they are doing and picky especialy when two run up on each other and start arguing over farm stuff, i wish i had some utube vids on that stuff.

What is this? its a video mounted in a box , the box looks likes a brick building, where you look threw the window and see the videos "books of BBQ" look at the vids, its like looking threw a crack in the wall to this activity, its private,

What is Self taught?
Well this picture poped up on ebay on of my Favs EB Ott, now this is self taught
i think the term has become romanticized to much i alway thought i started out that way and developed my own style somehow but now the term is ment to declare a purity or prudence form the fine commercial art world. Really the idea of the "self taught" is about determination to make painting after painting , hidden away or as a hobby but the results is a real wierd pictorial vision or style that isn't nesarly orginal but akward and singlular

Well folks i am having a show in Austin at OK mountain, i am in the project room but the main gallery is this guy!, who did the animation in the video Devin Flynn is in it, i love this video its fucking funny, so i am proud to be assosiated with him like this, its a great day, WTF... lets get drunk or something.
ill be profiling out the Books of BBQ deal and some Atari work-- i might have to make a video on this or something
